Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have been unveiled as the surprise hosts for the Brit Awards 2008!

The celebrity hellraisers will take to the stage to host the live event at London's Earl's Court on February 20.

BPI, the UK recorded music industry association revealed the news today and it it seems the rock n roll couple are made up, as Sharon said: "Ozzy and I have been asked to host many awards shows in the past but this is by far the most prestigious and meaningful, especially for Ozzy as it’s about the music. "

Ged Doherty, Chairman of the BRITs committee was also made up at the scoop, telling viewers to expect, "Rock & Roll, glamour, humour and a touch of the unexpected... Sharon and Ozzy will bring all this to The BRITs and more…. I can't wait."

Known for its riotous and irreverent shows, the BRITs couldn't have picked a more infamous couple - let's just hope Ozzy can manage to get his words out in the right order!
