BRIT Award TV executives are getting cold feet over their decision to have the Osbournes present the forthcoming ceremony.

As previously reported by Orange World, rock 'n' roll couple Ozzy and Sharon are set to host the live show on February 20, but chiefs are now putting tactics in place in case the night decends in to an utter shambles.

"It was all set to go live, but there's been a change of heart", a TV insider revealed to the Daily Star.

"It will be explained away as a time delay for 'production reasons', but really it's because they fear it could go pear-shaped."

Internet forums have been flooded with pleas from music fans calling on the BRITs to axe the oddball couple, claiming it could go down as the worst Awards yet!

One ITV source admitted: "Let's just say that this couple wouldn't have been our first choice. It could be a disaster."
