It's ding dong with a date on for Charlie Sheen...

As he gets set to trot down the aisle to wed actress Brooke Mueller.

Rumour has it the ceremony will take place in less than a month.

Yup, a source close to the couple told In Touch Weekly magazine that Charlie will wed Brooke on 30th May.

We're all for spontaneous romance and everything, but it's a bit of a marital bolt out the blue for us.

After all, Charlie popped the question to Brooke way back in July 2007 (with a $500,000 ring - get him), after just under two years of dating, but there's been no specific wedding natter until now.

Not that Charlie's a stranger to wedded bliss, or weddings at any rate.

He's been married twice before, to model Donna Pelle and then to Denise Richards, whom he divorced in 2006.

Let's only hope this spells third time lucky for the duo.
