There's a new gig banging around for Denise Van Outen.

And it involves a rather hirsute topic it seems.

What is it?

Well, Den's is set to host a new Sky One musical show based on the hit movie and musical Hairspray says The Sun.

The paper reports that the Capital Radio DJ will present Hairspray: The School Musical, which will see a school recreating the hit West End show.

They also claim Den may rope in her current beau, Joseph star Lee Mead, to give a master class to the wannabes.

Another famous face said to be on the cards to make an appearance on the show is Spice Girl Emma Bunton.

Sky's Richard Woolfe is quoted as saying: "Over the past few years Hairspray and High School Musical have brought musical theatre to new audiences worldwide.

"We're going to show all the emotions of the theatre - stage fright, crises in confidence, life-changing accomplishments and tears of joy."

Sounds like it's an occasion to get the Kleenex ready for.
