Carl Barat and Tim Burgess have launched Orange RockCorps, the new music-led volunteering movement.

The pair joined volunteers yesterday (July 8) to help transform a London school's roof into a vibrant, modern rooftop playground and vegetable garden.

The project, in partnership with CSV (Community Service Volunteers), gives the public the opportunity to earn a ticket for an exclusive gig at the Royal Albert Hall on September 26, in exchange for 4 hours of volunteer work.

Tickets for the gig can't be bought or won, only earned - making it the most exclusive gig of the year.
