 Ananova:
Dizzee Rascal talks Fatboy fame

Dizzee Rascal has talked about his collaboration with and admiration for Fatboy Slim.

Dizzee Rascal

East London MC Dizzee worked with Fatboy on the DJ's new album, recorded as Brighton Port Authority, alongside former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne.

Dizzee, real name Dylan Mills, told Orange: "What did I learn from working with Fatboy? I guess it's longevity."

He added: "In his studio he's got all the old posters of all the old raves and festivals he's done. I was thinking, 'this guy's done a lot' and then there's the plaques."

Bow grime man Dizzee also expressed his appreciation of an unlikely big Scottish indie crew he hopes to work with.

He told us: "Franz Ferdinand, they're some funky guys."

For our revealing interview with the Rascal, check out The Music Show on Orange.co.uk next Tuesday (July 22).
