Girls Aloud have revealed that a tune from their forthcoming album is the result of a collaboration with English electronic duo Pet Shop Boys.

'The Loving Kind' will feature on the group's fifth album, Out Of Control, and has been co-written by Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe.

Speaking to MTV, band member Kimberley Walsh said: "We want to impress the fans with what we do, so we've tried to up our game with this album and step outside the comfort zone."

Out Of Control, the follow-up to 2007's Tangled Up, will be released on 3 November.
