Rachel Stevens is recovering after being attacked on her doorstep.

The Strictly Come Dancing star was approached by three thugs as she arrived home at around 4pm to her £800,000 flat.

They demanded her necklace, a rolex watch and her engagement ring.

The S Club 7 singer is due to get married to fiancé Alex Bourne in August in France.

Police are investigating whether the gang had been following her throughout the day.

The suspects, two white men and one black, shouted at her "Give us the f***ing stuff!"

The flat near Regents Park is close to where dozens of stars such as Jude Law, Sadie Frost and Kate Moss live.

The star's spokeswoman Charlotte Hickson told The Sun: "Rachel did experience an intrusion and is shaken but otherwise OK."

The attack is being investigated by detectives from Camden Robbery Squad, who appealed for witnesses to call 020 7404 1212.

It's not thought any of Rachel's old bandmates will attend the wedding.

She said: "I haven't seen any of them for so long, so I don't think any of them will be there. Not because I don't want them to, but because we're not really in touch any more."
