Metalheads impressed by 'great' singer

Susan Boyle is now a hit on both sides of the Atlantic, and her ever-growing army of celebrity supporters is becoming more diverse by the day.

Mariah Carey and US President Barack Obama have already revealed their admiration for the 48-year-old songbird, and now even heavy metal overlords Slipknot have lavished praise on the Britain's Got Talent star.

Masked frontman Corey Taylor told ContactMusic.com: "Susan Boyle is incredible.

"Somebody told me about the show and I said, 'I have got to see this - 'I Dreamed A Dream', are you kidding me?'

"I put it on and she was fantastic. The people on that panel were in tears! When Susan leans into it she's great."

Corey is also convinced that Boyle's recent bout of exhaustion and questionable mental health has only added to her charm.

He explained: "She's a little bit crazy, but aren't we all? Anyone who's worth their salt is a little bit bent out of shape."
