Former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting his wife. His neighbours in west London apparently called 999 to report a disturbance at the couple's home around 8am on Monday morning. Brown's 37-year-old Mexican wife Fabiola Quiroz, who is a model and actress, allegedly told officers when they arrived that she had been attacked. Brown, 46, was detained on suspicion of assault and taken to a police station for questioning. He was later freed on bail until December. The couple have been married for 10 years and have a nine-year-old son, Emilio. A Scotland Yard spokesman confirmed: "A 37-year-old woman made an allegation of domestic assault and a 46-year-old man was arrested at the address and taken to a police station." Brown fronted the Stone Roses for 12 years until they split in 1996.
