Lionel Ritchie is in Berlin to film a video for his new single, but will spend most of his time dancing underground rather than on the ceiling.

The soul star's latest video - to accompany the song Angel - will be filmed on the city's underground rail system, where Ritchie catches the eye of a girl.

The pair are spirited away into an Escher drawing featuring unending staircases and chase each other around the picture.

Rehearsals have already started on the underground U5 line, which passes through the centre of Berlin.
