Chris is the hot favourite to be the next Pop Idol contestant to be evicted.

With only seven contestants left, bookmakers think the show is about to become more competitive.

William Hill make Chris 13/8 to go, ahead of Michelle at 9/4, Mark at 4/1, Roxanne at 6/1, Susanne at 7/1 and Sam and Andy, both at 16/1.

Andy is the favourite to win the contest at 2/1, just ahead of Susanne at 11/4, Sam at 10/3 and Roxanne at 9/2.
