The star of the new Peter Pan film caused problems for the producers - by growing eight inches during filming. Jeremy Sumpter, 14, who plays Peter - the boy who never grew up - picked the worst time for his growth spurts. Jason Isaacs, who plays Captain Hook, eventually had to stand on a box, says the Channel 4 website. And a window frame, in which Peter stands in Wendy's nursery, had to be remade four times. Jeremy said: "The window I fly into in the nursery - they had to change the height of it four times so I didn't have to crouch to get in. "And Hook is supposed to be a lot bigger than I am, right? When I got taller, Jason had to stand on an apple box," he said. |
