Peter Jackson is putting Bag End in the back garden of his New Zealand mansion.

The Lord of the Rings director was allowed to keep Bilbo and Frodo Baggins' home after filming.

He and wife Fran Walsh are relocating it to the grounds of their sprawling property in Masterton, reports Channel4.com.

Jackson said: "I love Bag End. Sometimes you feel like you really are in that world. It's all made with round walls. It's amazing how comforting roundness is in a building."
