 Ananova:
Kate Hudson forgives absentee father

Kate Hudson has forgiven her father Bill Hudson for being absent throughout her childhood.

She said: "We run into each other in the supermarket all the time. Thanks to my upbringing, we've got a good relationship today.

"I love him the way he is and I don't reproach him for anything."

The Hollywood beauty and daughter of Goldie Hawn added that she was addicted to her family.

"I'm a slave to my family. I would prefer to be together with all of my relatives all of the time," Hudson told German Instyle magazine.

Hudson and musician husband Chris Robinson are expecting their first child early next year.

Kate said: "I can hardly wait to give birth to this little person. When it happens it will be the most beautiful thing I've experienced. But at the moment I'm just enjoying being pregnant."

The 24-year-old star said she was eager to get designer pregnancy wear: "I could hardly wait to go out and buy really stylish maternity clothes. I wanted to be a fashionable pregnant woman."

Kate and Chris are also saving their travel souvenirs to show their future children.

"We keep a travel diary wherever we go. We have a huge box full of photos, tickets to baseball games, postcards. We love that. It will be great when we can show all of our souvenirs to our children one day."
