 Ananova:
Reality TV show 'could last forever'

Reality television could literally never end thanks to a new show by Fox Television.

Forever Eden will see a group of singles being paid to live in a luxury resort abroad for an unlimited period, reports Media Guardian.

Fox's head of alternative programming, Mike Darnell explained: "These people could be on the air for six months a year or three years.

"If you want to stay and play your cards right you could be on the air forever. It's the first real try at a reality soap opera."

The idea behind the show is that people actually leave their lives behind, rather than go on a reality game show. Contestants will have no contact with the outside world and can be kicked off the show at anytime.

The longer people stay the more money they earn, with bonuses for being flirty or outrageous. Contestants may also face a few nasty surprises including faces from their past being brought to the resort.

Forever Eden has been contracted for 25 episodes initially but how long it lasts will depend on how long people keep watching.
