The new star of Footballers' Wives says the third series will have more nudity than ever.

Ben Price, who plays bisexual team captain Conrad Gates, says he was filming nude sex scenes every week.

He told Teletext: "I just got on with them. I had to walk naked through a hotel lobby in Thailand in front of 200 people, it's something you get used to."

The nine-part series begins on ITV1 on February 11. Price, 29, said: "I had to simulate sex with Tanya (Zoe Lucker) in a private jet and I also have love scenes with her on top of a washing machine and in a physiotherapy room."

He says the sex scene in the jet took eight hours to shoot, adding: "It was my second week of filming and it was boiling hot and very cramped.

"It was an eight-hour shoot with a cameraman, sound man and two lighting men in a very small space. You expect these sort of scenes because of the nature of the show.

"My character Conrad Gates has affairs with women and another footballer. I only had kissing scenes with the guy - they were very tame compared to the sex scenes I filmed with Zoe and Laila Rouass (wife Amber)."
