Sharon Osbourne has reportedly cancelled her daytime US chat show following Ozzy's life-threatening crash at their Buckinghamshire estate.

She has apparently asked to be released from her contract to Time Warner's Telepictures for the Sharon Osbourne Show.

However, the programme has posted increasingly lower ratings since it debuted last September.

According to media researchers the show has dropped significiantly from the four million US viewers it had to begin with.

A spokesman for the Osbournes has confirmed the show has been cancelled, but would not say if it was related to the singer's serious accident at the Chalfont St Giles house.

It has not been announced when the last episode will air, reports Billboard.
