Coronation Street's Kate Ford says she wants an onscreen lesbian fling with Christina Ricci.

Kate, who plays Tracy Barlow, says she thinks the Hollywood star is the "sexiest woman on the planet".

She told The Mirror: "I think Tracy's has just about everything I could think of, although I would really like a lesbian storyline.

"I keep trying to talk them into writing in a character for Christina Ricci so that I could have a lesbian fling with her.

"I think she's the sexiest girl on the planet. Her eyes, her skin, everything about her is just so hot."
