I'm a Celebrity contestants thought John Lydon was losing the plot even before his walk-out.

He lit a fire on the edge of the camp and then ignored the flames as he went to sit on his bed.

And when show organisers asked the celebrities to put out the flames, John yelled: "Shut up!"

Then he walked over to the fire and started squeezing his nipples as if to put out the flames with breast milk.

John eventually stamped out the flames while shouting: "I'm doing the dance. I'm doing the pogo. Lentil mental. I've gone lentil mental."

He also cut up a photo of Tony Blackburn, cut nipple holes in his t-shirt, coloured his hair with a toothbrush and screamed: "Here's Johnny."

Peter Andre laughed: "You have lost it mate,you have lost the plot," and Kerry McFadden asked: "Is he on medication? It's not right. Seriously, you have gone nuts."

But John answered: "I'm splendid. I'm super. I'm cute and cuddly. I'm irresistible, that's what I am. I am not a misery guts."
