The Mexican transsexual in There's Something About Miriam says she agreed to make the programme to find out about 'love'.. Miriam pretended to be an ordinary woman in the Sky One reality TV show and ended up kissing six unsuspecting men. She told TV Plus: "I did it because I wanted to know if real love exists. Can a person fall in love?" "No, I don't feel used by it. I was trying to be myself and if anyone had asked me about myself I would have told them. "Some of them only spent three hours with me, I was dating six at one time. The guys would try to be perfect for me but they completely changed afterwards." None of the six knew the truth about her and one contestant is said to have punched the show's producer when he found out. They sued Sky TV after filming in Ibiza finished last summer. They claimed they were tricked into kissing and cuddling him/her and subsequently settled for £100,000. |
