A wedding scene between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck has reportedly been cut from their new movie.

The footage has been scrapped from director Kevin Smith's Jersey Girl, due out March 26, according to US Weekly magazine.

The magazine quotes Smith as saying: "I didn't know if it was right to leave it in. People might forget they're watching a picture."

Affleck and Lopez were supposed to get married last September but called off the wedding and have since ended their engagement.
