Laura Dern, who starred in the original Jurassic Park, will reprise her role in Jurassic Park 3.

Dern will appear alongside Sam Neill in the opening section of the film, which is currently on location in Hawaii and Los Angeles.

Jurassic Park 3 is being directed by Joe Johnston, with an original story idea by Steven Spielberg.

Neill and Dern will be joined in the film by William H Macy and Tea Leoni who play a married couple whose son gets separated from them and has to try and avoid being eaten by the dinosaurs.
