Jade Goody has revealed she had been rushed to hospital from the Back to Reality house after a burst cyst on her ovary. The 23-year-old returned to house tonight and told fellow contestants: "You have two ovaries right? The left one I had a cyst on but it burst. If it don't you have to have an operation. I have got tablets. "I don't have to have an operation - it's exploded. I just took tablets and had an injection in my bum, it was absolutely horrible. It burst. I don't know what happened. It might come out in my wee." Jade was taken to the Central Middlesex Hospital in Acton, west London after suffering "severe stomach cramps". She had blacked out in the bathroom on the set of the Channel Five show on Friday night. Jade underwent a series of tests and was kept in hospital overnight as a precaution and there was speculation that she was pregnant. Her spokeswoman, however, denied she was expecting her second child. She said the star was desperate to return to the show, the winner of which scoops £75,000 for their chosen charity. Jade has been one of the favourites to walk off with the title of top reality TV star and, if she's crowned, will split the cash between Tommy's, Scope and NCH. Her collapse was watched by about one million viewers, who saw housemate James Hewitt first on the scene to help before the on-site medic and senior producer entered the mansion. The celebrities entered the house on February 14 and the winner leaves on March 5. There will be a further eviction tomorrow night. The remaining housemates are Josie D'Arby, Goody, James Hewitt, Craig Phillips, Maureen Rees and Rik Waller. |
