Michael Jackson is being treated for drug and alcohol addictions by a witch doctor, according to reports.

South American healer Alfredo Bowman - who says he can cure cancer - is treating the 45-year-old in Aspen, Colorado.

"He was brought in to cure the symptoms of Jackson's pain so he wouldn't need painkillers any more," a source told the Daily Mail.

He has been living with his children in a nine-bedroom villa in Aspen since February 10.

Jackson faces seven charges of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 and two counts of giving the child an "intoxicating agent", reportedly wine. He has called the allegations, by a teenage cancer survivor, a "big lie".
