The first full trailer has been released for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

New director Alfonso Cuaron looks to have come up with the darkest film so far.

Highlights include the magic bus, the chilling dementor guards from Azkaban and Hermione Granger punching Draco Malfoy in the face.

The new movie, due out in June, features Harry Potter and his friends Ron and Hermione returning as teenagers to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for their third year of study.

They delve into the mystery surrounding escaped prisoner Sirius Black who poses a dangerous threat to the young wizard.

It reunites Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint as Harry, Hermione, and Ron, as well as Maggie Smith as Professor McGonagall, Robbie Coltrane as Hagrid and Alan Rickman as Professor Snape.

Newcomers include Gary Oldman as Sirius Black, Emma Thompson as Sybill Trelawney, David Thewlis as Professor Lupin, Julie Christie as Madam Rosmerta and Michael Gambon as Professor Dumbledore.
