Thirteen unseen episodes of Monkey have been found and are being dubbed into English by the original voiceover actors.

David Collings reprises his role as Monkey while Andrew Sachs, famous for his role as waiter Manuel in Fawlty Towers, returns as Yu-Lung.

The pair said they could barely remember making the early shows which became cult 1970s viewing, reports the BBC.

The voiceovers were recorded separately in a studio in London's Soho and the pair never actually met until they appeared together on today's BBC Breakfast show.

Sachs said: "We had to put on cod Japanese accents... I thought it would be a bit strange but it seemed to work. Kids from the 70s still remember it as their favourite programme."
