Pink is suing Austria's foreign minister after she used her name on leaflets handed to fans at a recent concert in Vienna.

Thousands of leaflets were handed out by supporters of Benita Ferrero-Waldner who is standing for election as President of Austria this weekend.

According to lawyers acting for the singer, election campaigners acting for Ferrero-Waldner "broke more than one right of the artist" with the unauthorised campaign.

They added it "was a misuse of an artist's name for a political campaign without the written consent of the artist".
