Justin Timberlake has given his friend Elisha Cuthbert some dancing lessons.

The actress, who starred in 24, needed some practise before appearing on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show.

According to Skynews, Cuthbert went on the show to promote her new movie, The Girl Next Door.

But she was worried she would not be able to compete with the comedienne's dance steps, which she shows off every morning.

Timberlake's help paid off for the French Canadian actress.

The 21-year-old successfully wiggled her way onto the set to the Jackson Five classic Dancing Machine.

The Girl Next Door tells how a teenager's dreams come true when a former porn star moves in next door and they fall in love.
