Seabiscuit star Michael Angarano has agreed to star in Walt Disney's Sky High.

According to the Hollywood reporter the film centres on a high school for superpowered teens in a world where superheroes are an everyday occurrence.

The story follows Jeremy, the son of superheroes Commander Stronghold and Jetstream, and his trials and tribulations of being a regular teenager and a possible future hero.

Sky High will begin production on August 20 in Los Angeles.
