Jennifer Lopez' new boyfriend Marc Anthony has filed for a quickie divorce in the Dominican Republic.

The 33-year-old singer, and actor Anthony, 34, have been inseparable since getting together shortly after her wedding to Ben Affleck was called off.

Recently she was sporting a massive diamond which friends said was an engagement ring, says The Sun.

Anthony flew to the Caribbean this week to get the divorce from ex-Miss Universe Dayanara Torres who he wed in Las Vegas in 2000. They have two children.

They split two years later but reconciled in 2002 and renewed their vows. But they broke up and he started dating Lopez early this year.

He's currently starring in the Denzel Washington film Man On Fire.

Meanwhile, Lopez won't be in the UK for next week's premiere of her new film, Jersey Girl. The Sun says she doesn't want to bump into former fiancé and co-star Ben Affleck.

She was due on the red carpet in London's West End next Wednesday for the UK premiere of the romantic drama.
