 Ananova:
Emma's 'no Jade' says mother

Emma's mother has urged Big Brother viewers not to be too hard on her daughter, reports the Digital Spy website.

A series of silly comments from Emma have reminded viewers of Jade Goody's lack of general knowledge.

Examples include "What does 'clarify' mean?" and "What's mozzarella?".

But Emma's mother, Karen, has revealed that her daughter's dyslexia is responsible for these comments.

"Emma isn't the brightest," Karen tells the Daily Mirror.

"Her dyslexia makes her say silly things sometimes. She hasn't got much common sense and she has never used an oven.

"But I hope people aren't too hard on her like they were with Jade. She's a lovely girl with a heart of gold."
