The UK premiere of the Ben Affleck/Jennifer Lopez film Jersey Girl, failed to attract a single celebrity on Wednesday night.

The Sun says the film has taken its place as the worst British film premiere ever.

Affleck was ruled out of the event by bronchitis, while his ex-girlfriend and co-star Jennifer Lopez didn't apparently want to turn up because she didn't want to meet him.

A sore throat kept Liv Tyler away from the event which was held at the Curzon theatre in London's West End.

The Sun says organisers tried to disguise the fact nobody of note was bothering to show.
