 Ananova:
Queen and Dave Stewart set for Aids in Africa concert

Queen and former Eurythmics' guitarist Dave Stewart are to appear at the Aids in Africa fund-raising concert in Spain this August.

46664 Latino takes place in Benidorm on Saturday, August 21, and follows a successful concert in Cape Town last year.

Both Queen and Dave Stewart performed at that concert.

This year's event will feature mainly latino acts including dancer Joaquin Cortes and opera singer Montserrat Caballe.

The concert is named after the prison number given to former South African president Nelson Mandela, who said of the Benidorm event: "46664 Latino will build on the success of our truly memorable concert in Cape Town last year.

"The event will feature a galaxy of stars from the world of Latin music. It will serve to educate an even greater audience about the HIV/AIDS pandemic that Africa now faces."

More than 30,000 music fans are expected to attend the concert at Les Foietes Stadium - proceeds of which go to the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
