Doherty, who walked out of the Thamkrabok Monastery in Thailand where he was being treated for drug addiction, has been arrested.

He was pulled up while driving in London and was allegedly found with a flick knife in his possession.

Doherty is due in court later this month where he'll face charges of possessing an offensive weapon, driving without a licence, insurance and driving dangerously.

Meanwhile, the Libertines' new single and album will be released in August.

The single, Can't Stand Me Now, will be released on Rough Trade Records on August 9, reports XFM.

The as yet untitled album, produced by former Clash guitarist Mick Jones and engineer Bill Price, is due out on August 30.
