A defrocked Buddhist monk who allegedly impersonated an army officer to get sex has named ten other monks who he says did the same.

Wanchai Oonsap, of Bangkok, claims several of his colleagues also dressed as Thai military officials and took part in sex acts, according to The Straits TimesThe Straits Times website. The men have been rounded up by police.

Wanchai, known by his clerical name Thammathorn Wanchai before he was thrown out of the clergy, was arrested wearing a fake colonel's uniform and driving a Mercedes.

When police searched his home they found pornography, booze, condoms, women's underwear and a wig.

The 43-year-old monk, whose religion requires him to live a life of celibacy, abstinence and poverty, would not confirm whether he had slept with women. He was caught after an undercover TV crew taped him being visited by two women at a secret residence.

Earlier this month Thailand's monks came under scrutiny when two were defrocked for allegedly visiting a karaoke bar wearing wigs to wear their shaved heads.
