 Ananova:
Plane loo's ice falls into attic

A block of ice falling from a plane smashed a hole through a roof while a couple were asleep.

But the pair thought the bang was a car crash and went back to sleep.

The next day Anita Unsworth and husband Peter, 58, found slates on their car and looked up to see a 2ft hole in the roof.

A trip to the attic found a huge melting ice chunk reports the Mirror.

Mrs Unsworth, 55, said: "It must have been travelling at terrific speed. It is scary as our bedroom is underneath."

The Civil Aviation Authority, which is investigation, said the ice came from a leaking toilet.

Repairs on the couple's house at Cowplain, near Portsmouth, will cost £400.
