A Romanian woman says she has stayed in her home for 15 years since her husband was jailed.

Mariana Schuster, 46, promised her husband she would be faithful to him while he was in prison.

Her husband, who is serving 30 years for murder, made her sign a legal agreement saying she would not leave the house because he thought she would be unfaithful.

Mrs Schuster, from Sibiu, told local media she was not lonely: "My husband's sisters take care of me."
