A Chinese passenger had to buy another air ticket for his luggage.

The passenger, named only as Ma, was stopped at the safety inspection counter at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, because his suitcases weighed over 100Kg

He was told he had to leave the suitcases behind or buy another ticket for them reports Nanfang Daily.

He purchased the ticket and sat next to the suitcases which reportedly contained cash.
