 Ananova:
Naughty teddies cause trouble for tattooist

A US tattoo parlour owner has been threatened with jail because she has two huge, naked teddy bears in her window.

The 5ft, black leather bears are anatomically correct and show the public different body parts which can be pierced.

Anna Sachs, who owns the shop in Albuquerque, has been visited by police who have warned her she could face a fine or jail under the law on "sexually oriented material harmful to minors".

Ms Sachs says she will not remove the bears - one male and one female - unless a judge orders her to do so. "It's my business and what I do for a living," she said. She said the law referred to human sexuality, not that of animals, reports the Albuquerque Journal .

"A dog walks around and we don't have underwear on him," she said, adding that she had only received one complaint in eight months. That was when shop workers had put the bears in a suggestive pose, which they have now been instructed not to do.

From time to time, one will appear to be spanking the other with a paddle, but things go no further than that, she said. "I thought they were very funny, and most people do laugh."
