 Ananova:
One buys an iPod

The Queen has bought an iPod.

She asked one of her Royal courtiers from Buckingham Palace to buy the gadget for her.

The Queen has purchased a silver £169 six-gigabyte mini version which can hold 1.500 songs and has a rechargeable battery lasting 18 hours.

It is believed that Price Andrew suggested the idea of buying one to his mother reports The Sun.

A royal insider said: "The Queen loves music and was impressed by how small and handy the iPod is. She does a lot of travelling and an iPod is a very convenient way of listening to music."
