| Storms halt production of book on bad weather |
Production of a book on extreme weather conditions has been temporarily halted - due to storms and floods.
Printers working on The Surrey Weather Book - A Century of Storms, Floods and Freezes, had to abandon the project as rising water levels threatened to flood Litho Techniques printing works in Whyteleafe, near Croydon, Surrey.
Director Stuart Gilbert says: "We were just working on an extra eight-page update about the storms last month when we realised water was lapping at the door.
"Ironic isn't the word."
