A man who broke into a house in Cordoba, Argentina was caught when he fell asleep on the sofa after drinking all the owner's alcohol.

Roberto Nunez found Oscar Filippa sleeping in his sofa after having broken into the house through a window.

Mr Nunez told Clarin newspaper: "I could not believe what I was seeing."

The thief was woken up by the policeman who came to arrest him.

Police spokesperson said: "It is like goldilocks on gin!"
