Sharon Osbourne decided to stay at home and cook Ozzy egg and chips rather than attend the National Television Awards.

The X Factor judge decided not to attend the ceremony as she was convinced she would not win the Most Popular Expert on TV award.

She won the award beating fellow X Factor judges Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.

According to The Sun she said: "Not in a million years did I think I'd win. I'm sitting at home, I've got colour in my hair and I'm cooking egg and chips for Ozzy. It has come as a shock that people have voted for me."
