A Swiss chocolate maker is releasing the ultimate in decadent pleasure - gold-plated chocolate. The luxury treats, each coated in 24-carat gold leaf thin enough to be edible, will hit Britain just in time for Christmas. A box of two of the precious pralines by manufacturers DeLafée International will cost £15 and chocolate boss Sebastien Jeanneret says he expects them to fly off the shelves. He said: "When I first had the idea I just knew it would work - both substances are just so wonderfully sinful I knew they would fit together." |
