 Ananova:
Stolen car turns up - after 37 years

A car lover has been reunited with his beloved Corvette - 37 years after it was stolen.

The brand-new motor vanished from Alan Poster's garage in New York in 1969, says the Mirror.

But authorities spotted it on a ship bound for Sweden in November and traced it back to Alan, 63.

He said: "It's a miracle. It's probably the only car I've ever really loved."

The 1968 Corvette is now silver instead of blue and lacks a petrol tank and radiator.

But it is worth about £10,223 - three times the price Alan paid.
