A formula has been created to find a person's sexiest time of day.

The equation, AL / T + 10 x AG / SF x G = TOTAL / 60 = sexiest time, takes in the gender of the person, the number of units of alcohol consumed in a week, the number of sex sessions and the preferred time of day for sex into account.

Academics at the University of Cardiff teamed up with Mates Intensify to come up with the mathematical formula for Valentine's Day.

According to The Sun a researcher said: "You are either a lark, if you make love in the morning, or a night-time owl. The formula will tell you which."
