A Chinese woman is living in a cage in the middle of a park with 300 birds

The 25-year-old, from Hubei, plans to stay in the cage, suspended 12ft above the ground, for seven days.

The cage is equipped with a bed and a computer with internet access, reports China Daily.

The woman, selected from 70 volunteers, said she hoped to increase her awareness of conservation by experiencing the pain of a caged bird.
