Simon Cowell has proved he really does love himself after admitting his Desert Island Discs luxury would be a mirror. He told the Radio 4 show's presenter Sue Lawley: "It's because I'd miss me." According to The Sun Sue exclaimed: "I don't believe it, why?" The X Factor judge replied: "I am on my own, no one around, I might as well have a mirror." Cowell chose mainly sentimental ballads from the 1950s and 1960s. The only modern tune was Daniel Bedingfield's 2002 hit If You're Not the One. His favourite tune was Bobby Darin's version of Mack the Knife, which he said was "the best song ever made - ever sung".
