A nappy allegedly worn by a US astronaut charged with plotting to kidnap a love rival is up for grabs on eBay.

The starting bid for the Nasa-issued nappy is more than £1,000, reports Metro.

Lisa Nowak drove from Houston to Orlando wearing the nappy so she wouldn't have to stop for bathroom breaks.

She was allegedly on her way to confront a woman she believed was a rival for the affections of a fellow astronaut.

However, a bed and breakfast in Mississippi claims she stopped for something to eat and, in her rush, left the nappy behind.

The 43-year-old, who flew to the international space station last July, has been charged with attempted kidnapping, battery and other crimes.
